ALPHABET SOUP

As apart of our summer brief one of our tasks was to collect 30 examples of each letterform of the alphabet, these typographic examples could be in any form of media whether it may be a vector, a photograph a hand drawn illustration or any other form of typographic letterform. Within our blog groups we then established ten different categories that we could group everybody’s examples within:

1)    Serif
2)    Sans-serif
3)    Hand drawn/handcrafted
4)    Photographs
5)    Digital
6)    Colour
7)    Black & white
8)    Uppercase
9)    Lowercase
10) 3D

After identifying these groups we systematically distributed the relevant letterforms to the relevant category.

1) SERIF

2) SANS-SERIF

3) BLACK & WHITE

4) COLOUR

5) DIGITAL

6) PHOTOGRAPHS

7) UPPERCASE

8) LOWERCASE

9) HAND DRAWN / HANDCRAFTED

10) 3D
